Firm Rules

Evaluation & Profit Target +
Lucid runs both Instant and 1-Step routes across four programs — Direct, Pro, Flex and Daily. You clear a program by hitting its profit goal while staying inside the buffer/drawdown; targets and buffers scale with account size (25K to 150K).
Drawdown / Max Loss +
Depending on the program you pick either an intraday drawdown (DLL) or an end-of-day model — for example LucidDaily is sold in both Intraday DLL and EOD DLL versions. Your maximum-loss level is tied to that choice rather than a single house rule.
Consistency Rule +
How much a single day can contribute to total profit changes by program: 20% on LucidDirect, 40% on LucidPro, and 50% on LucidFlex and LucidDaily. Read the rule for the exact plan you buy.
Micro-Scalping +
Genuine scalping is fine, but an account gets flagged if more than half of its profit comes from trades held five seconds or less. Confirmed bad-faith micro-scalping earns a written warning after manual review.
Hedging +
Every form of hedging is banned — including opposite positions spread across a single user's own accounts, and correlated cross-instrument hedges such as long ES in one account and short NQ in another.
High-Frequency Trading +
HFT and latency-arbitrage strategies are prohibited and picked up by automated detection. Repeat offences can see profits removed, accounts closed and access restricted.
News Trading +
Permitted on every evaluation and funded account except LucidDaily. On Daily you must be flat from one minute before to one minute after a red-folder release — holding or opening through that window is a hard breach.
Inactivity Rule +
An account that hasn't produced at least a $1 net profit or loss within 30 calendar days is treated as abandoned and permanently deleted.
Payout & Withdrawal +
$500 minimum with a quick 3-5 day cadence. The buffer model can return up to 100% on early payouts before settling to a 90% split, paid via Crypto, Plaid or WorkMarket.
