1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of proptradingscanner.com and its content (the “Site”), operated by PropTradingScanner (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. What PropTradingScanner is — and is not
PropTradingScanner is an independent research and comparison website for futures proprietary trading firms. We publish reviews, comparisons, pricing, payout data, rankings and free calculators.
We are not a broker, a proprietary trading firm, a financial adviser, or a party to any agreement between you and a prop firm. Prop firm accounts are simulated funded-account programs. Everything on the Site is educational information only and is not financial, investment, trading, legal or tax advice. Trading futures carries substantial risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and should always confirm a firm’s current terms directly and seek professional advice where appropriate.
3. Affiliate disclosure
Some links on the Site are affiliate links: if you sign up with a prop firm through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you (and often at a discount, because we surface active coupon codes). This is how we fund a free, ad-light research site.
Affiliate revenue does not influence our scores, rankings or reviews. We rank firms on data and our published methodology first, and monetise second. When the best-scoring firm for your needs is not one we earn from, we still rank it accordingly. See our About page for how we score firms and our Payout Reliability Index methodology.
4. Accuracy and no warranty
We work hard to keep firm pricing, rules, payout terms and discounts accurate and updated regularly, drawing on public sources such as Trustpilot, firms’ own pages and trader communities. However prop firm terms change frequently and without notice. The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Always verify current details on the firm’s official website before committing money. If you spot an error, please tell us and we will re-check it.
5. Third-party firms, offers and links
The Site links to and describes third-party prop firms, offers and coupon codes. We do not control, endorse or guarantee any third party, their programs, payouts, availability in your country, or the outcome of any evaluation. Your dealings with any prop firm are solely between you and that firm. Coupon codes and discounts are provided by the firms and may expire or change at any time. Do your own due diligence before purchasing an evaluation.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — text, rankings, scores, methodology, calculators, layout and graphics — is owned by PropTradingScanner or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view and share links to our pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, scrape, republish, resell or create derivative works from our content, data or scores without our prior written permission.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by: attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it; scraping or bulk-harvesting content or data; using automated systems that place unreasonable load on our infrastructure; or using the Site for any unlawful purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PropTradingScanner and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, or for any trading losses, lost profits, or losses arising from your reliance on information on the Site, your use of any prop firm, or any coupon, price or rule that turned out to be inaccurate or out of date. Your use of the Site is at your own risk.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law and contact
