How PropTradingScanner handles data. Short version: we collect as little as possible and never sell your data.

Who we are
PropTradingScanner (“we”, “us”) operates the website proptradingscanner.com, an independent research and comparison site for futures prop firms. We are based at Nalbandyan Street 106/1, Office 404, Yerevan, Armenia. You can reach us at hello@proptradingscanner.com.
Information we collect
We run a lean, privacy-respecting site. There are no user accounts and we do not ask you to register. Specifically:
- Information you send us. If you email us (for a question, correction or firm submission), we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to reply and resolve your request.
- Server and hosting logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamps, for security and to keep the Site running. This is common to virtually all websites.
- No advertising or analytics trackers. At the time of writing we do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, Meta Pixel or similar third-party tracking scripts on the Site.
Cookies and third-party content
We do not set our own advertising or tracking cookies. Two third-party touchpoints may involve cookies or data collection by others:
- Embedded Google Map on our contact page loads content directly from Google, which may set its own cookies and collect data under Google’s privacy policy.
- Affiliate / referral links. When you click a link to a prop firm, that firm or its affiliate network may set a cookie to attribute the referral so we can be credited for a sign-up. This is handled by the firm/network under their own privacy policies, not by us.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the Site will continue to work.
How we use information
We use the limited data above only to: respond to your messages; operate, secure and maintain the Site; and comply with legal obligations. We do not use it for profiling or advertising.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share data only with service providers that make the Site work (for example our hosting provider) and only as needed, or where required by law. Prop firms you choose to visit or sign up with handle your data independently under their own policies.
Data retention
Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your request and for reasonable record-keeping. Hosting logs are retained for a limited period by our provider for security and diagnostics.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to object to its processing. Because we hold very little — typically only email correspondence — these requests are simple. Email hello@proptradingscanner.com and we will action it.
International users
The Site is available globally and our infrastructure and service providers may process data in different countries. By using the Site you understand that limited technical data may be processed outside your country of residence.
Children
The Site and prop trading are intended for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
