What Is the Payout Reliability Index (PRI)?
The Payout Reliability Index (PRI) is a proprietary rating system, developed by PropTradingScanner, that scores how reliably each futures proprietary trading firm pays its funded traders. The Payout Reliability Index converts public, verifiable payout evidence into a single 0–10 score, so traders can compare firms on the one metric that matters most — whether the firm actually pays. Unlike generic prop firm ratings, the PRI measures only payout reliability: withdrawal speed, published payout track record, policy clarity, Trustpilot sentiment and community feedback. Each PRI score is fully reproducible and documented in the PRI methodology whitepaper.
The single biggest thing prop firm marketing hides is payout reliability — whether withdrawals arrive fast, in full, and without excuses. Most comparison sites don’t measure it, so we built the PRI to do exactly that. Each firm below gets a PRI score (0–10) built only from public, verifiable signals: Trustpilot reviews, payout speed, published payout track record, policy clarity and community sentiment — we never invent a score.

How the Payout Reliability Index (PRI) is scored
The PRI combines five weighted signals into a single 0–10 score, deliberately weighting real-world payout evidence over marketing claims. This methodology (v1.0) is fixed and applied identically to every firm, and is published in full as a citable whitepaper (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.21889648):
- Trustpilot rating & volume — 30%: the score and how many reviews back it.
- Payout speed — 20%: how fast the first and subsequent payouts arrive, and whether on-demand.
- Payout track record — 25%: published totals paid, denial policy, guarantees and proof.
- Policy clarity — 15%: transparent profit split, minimum payout and frequency.
- Community sentiment — 10%: qualitative signal from trader forums and Reddit.
Firms marked PROVISIONAL are newer (2023+) or thin on public payout history and are scored conservatively until a longer verified track record accumulates. A handful of firms without a Trustpilot profile are held out of the index entirely rather than guessed at.
