Firm Rules

Evaluation & Profit Target +
FuturesElite sells Prime, Elite and Instant programs from 25K to 150K. You progress by reaching the program's target inside its rules, with contract limits scaling from 3 up to 12 minis by account size.
Drawdown / Max Loss +
An end-of-day style loss limit applies, with per-size contract caps. The program you choose sets how tight the ceiling is.
Consistency Rule +
Prime holds you to 40% on funded, Elite Sim-Funded to 51% on evaluation, and Instant tightens from 20% up to 30% across your first few payouts (25K Instant stays fixed at 20%).
News Trading +
Restricted on funded accounts. For Tier-1 events all trades must be closed at least 2 minutes before the release and cannot reopen until 2 minutes after — roughly a six-minute blackout. Straddle/strangle volatility plays are banned.
Scalping / Micro-Scalping +
Micro-scalping is allowed within limits: trades should last 11 seconds or more and stay within about 1 point on NQ (or the equivalent elsewhere). On evaluation, if scalped trades exceed 50% of the target the account won't upgrade to funded.
Prohibited Strategies +
Cross-account or multi-user hedging and reverse trading, stacking limit orders to manipulate fills, aggressive account-rolling, and fully automated EA/AI bots are all prohibited. Dollar-cost averaging is fine as long as it isn't your primary strategy.
Copy Trading +
You may copy freely between your own accounts, but copying another trader's account is not allowed.
Overnight & Trading Hours +
No overnight positions — everything must be closed by 4:59 PM EST or the system liquidates it. The session runs 6:00 PM to 5:00 PM EST with a settlement break, and markets are closed from Friday 5 PM to Sunday 6 PM EST.
Inactivity Rule +
Standard accounts are terminated after 29 days without a trade. Instant accounts purchased after 23 November 2025 must trade at least once every 7 days to stay active.
